78th Fraser Highlanders Calgary Garrison

Welcome

The Fort Calgary Garrison is one of ten outposts of the 78th Fraser Highlanders, an internationally acclaimed historical society, dedicated to the preservation of the memory of the original Regiment and Canadian Military history of the period mid-1700’s and celebration of the contributions of the early Scots to Canadian culture.

The primary focus of the Fort Calgary Garrison is to provide a well rounded youth training program which includes instruction in piping, drumming, highland dancing, musketry, weapons handling & safety, leadership, citizenship and history.

We are now into our 45th season of recruiting for the program. Please visit our YOUTH SQUAD page below for more information. If you or someone you know are interested in joining the program, please download a copy of the APPLICATION FORM and submit it at your earliest convenience.

Our practices are held every Sunday from 10:00am to 2:00pm at The Military Museums (4520 Crowchild Trail SW).

We will be hosting an OPEN HOUSE at The Military Museums (4520 Crowchild Trail SW) during the month of September.  Kindly bookmark this site and watch for a date and time. This is essentially an introduction and question period about the FREE Fraser Youth Training Program.
